Temporary credentials are provided to journalists, producers, photographers and others who need to cover Parliament on a limited basis. A letter of assignment from an organization's bureau chief or editor is required. For more information please contact us.
To become a member of the Canadian Parliamentary Press Gallery, please complete the application form. If you need membership for less than six months please see temporary membership above.
Members of the board of directors will review all applications submitted for membership in the Press Gallery.
You will be contacted once your application has been reviewed.
It is very important to provide all the information requested on the application form. Incomplete forms will be returned to the applicant and will have to be re-submitted.
Applications must be accompanied by a photo and a letter of introduction from your employer. If you are applying as a freelancer, your application must be submitted with at least two letters of introduction from your client base.
The back of the form must be dated and signed.
